| We suggest these simple care tips to keep your flowers fresh and beautiful:
1. Once you open the box, carefully remove all plastic and rubber bands. While keeping the head wrapped, cut diagonally in an angle about 1-2 inches from the bottom of the stem. Leave wrapped bunches in water between 6 and 12 hours to re-hydrate them and before you prepare your products. The longer time your flowers stay bunched in water the better they will perform.
2. Insert each bunch into a bucket filled with about 1/3 fresh cool water. Properly hydrate them first with only water for at least 1-2 hours and then, if you wish, transfer them to a vase of cool water with fresh flower food. Leaved wrapped bunches in water between 6 and 12 hours to further re-hydrate them and before you prepare your arrangement. The longer time your flowers stay bunched in water the better they will perform.
3. When you unwrap the flowers, carefully remove any loose or discolored outer petals. As the flower gradually opens, look for opportunities to refresh the appearance by carefully removing additional unsightly petals. Remove any foliage / green that falls below the water line. Greens can contaminate the water.
4. Keep flowers away from the direct sunlight, drafts or excessive heat.
5. If you see that some flowers are still dropping after 3-4 hours, re-cut following the above directions, sometimes a little air bubble forms.
6. IMPORTANT! Add fresh water daily and recut stems every 2-3 day.
7. Just For Roses: The fertile plateaus high in the mountains of Colombia produce Amazonia Flowers gorgeous roses. The constant mild temperature slows the plant’s growth producing large blossoms and long elegant stems.
Your roses are thirsty and need to drink water for 8-12 hours to perk up. With proper care, your roses will bloom over the next few days.
a) Leave the roses Packaged in the bunch.
b) Cut 1 inch off the stems and remove leaves that fall below the water line.
c) Fill vase with cool water.
d) Re-cut stems, change water each 24 hours.
e) For the longest life, keep your roses away from direct sunlight, heat and drafts.
f) The day of your event, remove the outside guard petals. These rugged outer petals were left on to protect your roses during shipment.
